Havnas og byens rolle for å muliggjøre utslippsfrie forsyningskjeder diskuteres og utforskes.
- Målsettingen med workshopene er å samle relevante pådrivere i maritim næring med aktører som leverer løsninger for nullutslipp til landtransport. Vi ønsker å vise at havnebyer verden rundt har potensialet til å redusere klimagassutslipp i hele transportsektoren betydelig. Dette gjelder ikke bare fra skip eller i de aktuelle havnene, men kombinert med miljøkrav i offentlig anskaffelser og tydelig retning og vilje fra byens ledere, kan vi kutte utslipp langt utover havnens areal, sier fungerende seksjonsleder plan og miljø, Heidi Neilson.
Ved å jobbe sammen kan byer og havner skape nullutslippsløsninger som reduserer utslipp langt utenfor havneområdene.
– Bynære havner kan kutte i utslipp fra transport og slik vise hvordan byer kan vokse på en bærekraftig måte. Dette er relevant for mange byer i verden. Dersom vi lykkes i Oslo kan flere plukke løsninger herfra, påpeker Heidi Neilson.
Workshopene er i samarbeid med C 40 Green Ports Forum og en del av Oslo Innovation Week. De vil foregå digitalt og på engelsk.
